The Day 2 and Day 3 Outlooks display the risk for severe weather as a category (Marginal, Slight, Enhanced, Moderate, and High) and as a probability where the displayed percentage is the chance for any severe weather during that day.  For example, a 30% risk for a given location means that there is a 30% chance for any severe weather within 25 miles of that location.  For more information, visit http://www.spc.noaa.gov/misc/SPC_probotlk_info.html.
